Therapy Services Designed Around Your Needs
No two people arrive at therapy with the exact same experiences, challenges, or goals. That's why I believe counseling should be personalized to fit the individual rather than forcing everyone into the same approach.
I work with teens, young adults, parents, adults, and families navigating anxiety, stress, trauma, burnout, life transitions, relationship challenges, and emotional overwhelm.
Whether you're looking for support for yourself, your teenager, or your family, therapy can provide a space to slow down, gain insight, and begin moving toward the life you want to live.

Services I Provide
My approach is rooted in person-centered therapy, which means I see you as more than a diagnosis or a list of symptoms. Together, we'll focus on understanding your experiences, building on your strengths, and developing tools that help you create meaningful and lasting change.

The teen and young adult years come with unique challenges, from academic pressure and identity exploration to anxiety, relationships, and emotional ups and downs. Sometimes it can feel like no one understands what you're going through.
I provide a supportive, judgment-free space where teens and young adults can feel heard, build coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and gain confidence in navigating life's challenges. My background as a teacher, school counselor, and college instructor gives me a unique understanding of this stage of life.

Parenthood can be one of life's most rewarding experiences—and one of its most overwhelming. Many parents find themselves struggling with anxiety, self-doubt, burnout, guilt, or the pressure to do everything perfectly.
Therapy offers a space to slow down, process what you're experiencing, and receive support without judgment. Together, we'll work on managing stress, building self-compassion, and helping you feel more confident as you navigate the challenges of parenting.

When communication breaks down or family relationships feel strained, it can be difficult to know where to start. Family therapy and parenting support can help families better understand one another, strengthen communication, and work through challenges together.
I work with families navigating parenting concerns, behavioral changes, conflict, divorce and separation, and other life transitions. The goal is to create healthier patterns, stronger relationships, and a more connected family system.
My Process
Every client's needs are different, which is why I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches to support healing and growth.
Depending on your goals, therapy may incorporate elements of:
EMDR Therapy
Sometimes difficult experiences continue to affect us long after they have passed. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy approach designed to help people process trauma, distressing memories, and experiences that may be keeping them stuck.
EMDR can help reduce emotional distress, increase resilience, and support lasting healing so you can move forward with greater confidence and peace.
Walk & Talk Therapy
For some people, therapy feels more comfortable when it's combined with movement and time outdoors. Walk & Talk Therapy offers the opportunity to engage in counseling while walking in a safe, agreed-upon outdoor setting.
This approach can help reduce stress, encourage reflection, and create a more relaxed therapeutic experience while still providing the same support and clinical care as traditional therapy sessions.
Telehealth Therapy
Therapy should be accessible and fit into your life. Telehealth sessions allow you to receive support from the comfort and privacy of your own home while maintaining the same personalized, high-quality care.
Online therapy is available to clients throughout Kansas and can be a convenient option for busy schedules, transportation challenges, or those who simply prefer meeting virtually.
